Tartlets with chocolate-peanut butter cream and fresh strawberries – Christmas dessert menu

A large cake is a delicious but predictable dessert. With these little cakes, you’ll be able to surprise your guests in a whole new way. In terms of taste and appearance, however, this smaller version is certainly no less impressive! They have everything you’d expect from a cake, but with a recipe that requires much less effort. These little cakes are also completely vegan. The crispy crust, creamy chocolate-and-peanut filling, and fresh strawberry topping make these tartlets a stylish finale to a sparkling menu and a cozy get-together.

Recipe

Ingredients (8 tartlets)

Soil:

  • 150 g rolled oats
  • 30 g sesame seeds
  • 30 g chia seeds
  • 100 ml water
  • 30 ml maple syrup
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp coconut blossom sugar

Filling:

  • 100 g chocolate
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Finish:

  • 6 strawberries

Supplies:

  • Oven
  • Mini tart pans or muffin pans

Preparation: (35 minutes)

For the base:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. 
  2. Mix the rolled oats, sesame seeds, chia seeds, coconut blossom sugar, and salt in a bowl.  
  3. Add the water and maple syrup. 
  4. Mix until well combined. 
  5. Line the muffin tins with parchment paper. 
  6. Spread a thin layer of the mixture over each mold. 
  7. Put them in the oven for 15 minutes.
  8. Then let it cool. 

In the meantime, you can make the filling:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. (Place a pot of water on the stove with a bowl containing the chocolate set over it.)
  2. Add the peanut butter as well and wait until both have melted. 
  3. Stir in the cinnamon and maple syrup. 
  4. Spread it over the tart shells. 
  5. Then top it off with strawberry slices.
