Review of Young & Free Jewelry

This week, we're doing something completely different. Instead of a recipe, I'd like to share with you some information about jewelry that I've been a fan of for a while now.

You may have already spotted them in one of my recipe videos—the jewelry from Young & Free Jewelry. Their online store features an extensive selection of beautiful jewelry, and you can even have pieces custom-made.

What makes Young & Free Jewelry so unique is the passion with which the founders, Yentle and Reijer, are committed to their business. You can really feel that passion in everything they do—in the jewelry and in their service, which is very personal and customer-friendly.

For every piece of jewelry sold, they invest 5% of the proceeds into helping others make their dreams come true. So when you buy a beautiful piece of jewelry for yourself (or someone else), you’re actually doing something wonderful for the world. That’s music to my ears!

On top of that, the quality of the jewelry is excellent. I’ve actually built up a small collection—well, they just had to be that beautiful, didn’t they?—of their pieces, and I wear them every day. I’ve had some of them for over a year now, and they still look great. And that’s really quite an achievement, because jewelry has to go through quite a lot with me 🙂

In the online store, you’ll find an extensive selection of jewelry in gold, silver, and other materials—such as stainless steel—available in a variety of price ranges. They also carry a wide range of handmade jewelry. Not only is this handmade jewelry absolutely beautiful, but it’s also extra special when someone has crafted a piece just for you with so much love and passion.

For my 18th birthday, I received a handmade ring like this one. (Thanks, Mom 🙂 ) It’s the one in the photos below. A ring with topaz, a blue gemstone. Every time I look at it, I’m enchanted all over again by that beautiful deep blue color, which always looks a little different depending on how the light hits it.

The beauty of gold and silver jewelry is that it lasts a lifetime. That makes it an ideal (and sustainable) keepsake to commemorate a special occasion or a loved one. And when you can buy that jewelry from such friendly and passionate people who have a wonderful mission behind their business, that’s what really makes it perfect for me.
