Speculaas Crumble

Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants. It purifies the blood and fights fungi and bacteria. It is rich in magnesium, which, among other things, improves memory and concentration. Apples contain both insoluble and soluble fiber. One apple provides 10% of the daily fiber requirement. Research has shown that people who consume sufficient insoluble fiber are 15% less likely to develop cardiovascular disease. Feel free to leave the peel on—it contains plenty of beneficial compounds, including pectin. In the gastrointestinal tract, pectin binds to toxins—such as heavy metals like lead and mercury—and helps eliminate them from the body. And perhaps my most important argument… they’re absolutely delicious with cinnamon. 🙂
