Kiwi Smoothie

This breakfast will make you feel like you’re on vacation. It makes you dream of that early Sunday morning when you watched the sun rise from your balcony, painting the sky bright pink, pastel purple, light yellow, and deep orange. Together, they form a stunning palette of colors—breathtakingly beautiful. You close your eyes and feel the pleasant warmth of the sun’s rays on your face, fully savoring the moment. This dish takes you back to that place. Plus, it requires almost no effort, is quick to prepare, and is super delicious. As the name suggests, it contains kiwi, which provides a whole range of vitamins and minerals. Kiwis are best known for their high vitamin C content. Vitamin C is important for our immune system, among other things, because it helps with the formation of white blood cells. It also promotes iron absorption. Vitamin C also contributes to healthy skin and strong hair. I think that’s a great way to start a beautiful day!

Ingredients: (serves 2)
Smoothie:
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 kiwis
- 3 tbsp soy yogurt
- 3 tbsp (almond) milk
Toppings:
- 3 tbsp granola (vanilla granola goes really well with this)
- 2 tbsp cranberries
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
Preparation: (10 minutes of work)
- Peel the kiwi and the banana, cut them into pieces, and put them in the blender.
- Add the soy yogurt and the almond milk.
- Blend.
- Serve in small bowls and top with the toppings. For example, sprinkle everything in lines across the top of your smoothie. For an extra pretty look, let them overlap slightly each time.
Enjoy your meal!
